MLB

Scored Official

The game must go to 8 1/2 complete innings. In the event of a pitcher change or an incomplete game (less than 8 1/2 innings) all money lines wagers are no action. Parlays will revert to the next level (3 team parlay becomes a 2 team parlay and a two team parlay will become a straight wager).
A game must go over 4 1/2 innings for you to have action on the money lines.
A game must go over 8 1/2 innings for you to have action on the run-line and the totals.
In the case of a postponed or canceled game after 8 1/2 innings the money line will be no action, but the run-line and the totals will have action.
All Baseball bets made on the internet are always listed pitchers. Totals are always listed pitchers. Run lines are always listed pitchers.

Money line

When wagering on sides, if you are betting the favorite, you will be laying odds. When betting on the underdog, you will be picking the odds. The odds for each game are based on who is pitching. There are four ways of betting baseball:

Action: you do not care if the listed pitchers start the game.

Listing both pitchers: you want action only if both pitchers start the game.

Listing your pitcher: you want action only if your pitcher starts the game.

Listing the opponents' pitcher: you want action only if the other teams' pitcher starts the game.

Totals (over/under)

Wagering on the total runs scored on the game:

If you wager on the Dodgers/Yankees game to go OVER the predicted total, the amount of the runs on the game must be equal or more than 10 in order to win the wager.

If you wager on the Dodgers/Yankees game to go UNDER the predicted total, the amount of runs on the game must not exceed 9 in order to win the wager.

Future Wagering

Future wagers, such as to win the Championship or the Divisional winners, will be graded as soon as the season or tournament is over.

Baseball Parlays

Over the Internet Parlays are limited to a specific pay-out.

POINTSPREAD

Many online sportsbooks and casinos offer point spread and over / under betting, both online and over the telephone. On a point spread wager, the team wagered must win by the point spread. On an over / under wager, the total points of the contest by both teams, overtime included, must fall over or under the side selected.

Example:

The posted line is the L.A. Lakers -10 at Portland Trailblazers +10 and the over/under total is 189.

The odds are $1.10 to win $1.00 (-110) unless otherwise indicated.

For the player who wagers on the Lakers -10, they must win by more than 10 points for this to be a winning wager. For the player who wagers on Portland +10, they must either win the game, or lose by less than 10 points for this to be a winning wager. If the outcome falls on the number, either way, the bet is declared a "Push", and the original stake is refunded.

For the player who wagers on the total points of this contest by both teams to be "Over" 189, the combined final score of both teams must exceed 189. For the player who wagers on the total points of this contest by both teams to be "Under" 189, the combined final score of both teams must be less than 189. If the outcome falls on the number, the bet is declared a "Push", and the original stake is refunded.

Pointspread and Over/Under lines will be offered on all NBA contests.

All wagers on the side & total will include all overtime scoring

MONEYLINE

Many Las Vegas and web based sportsbooks offer moneyline odds wagering on American BasketBall, both online and over the telephone. Moneyline Wagering is simply wagering on the contest based on a given price rather than a pointspread. The team bet on just, has to win the game.
Example:
A player could choose one of two wagers on the following matchup: L.A. Lakers -200 at Portland Trailblazers +180. If the Lakers win, the player laid $200.00 to win $100.00. If Portland wins, the player who bet $100.00 wins $180.00.

PROPOSITION

Simply put, Proposition/Exotic Bets may generally be considered as any wager other than a straight "side" or "over/under" wager. More specifically, these wagers usually involve specific events and occurrences that happen throughout any given game. We have listed some examples for you below. Props/Exotics will be offered on more marquee games on the betting menu. These include, but are not limited to, Sunday and Monday night NFL games, various NCAA Football games, major Bowl games, and many Playoff and Championship Basketball games. There are also many other miscellaneous events that Props and Exotics will be offered for.

POINTBUYING

Many Atlantic City sportsbooks and internet casinos offer Point Buys. This is a method of allowing the bettor to improve the point spread odds of a Basketball contest by actually "buying points" for the team he/she wants to wager, side or total. Bettors can buy points in 1/2 point increments up to 3 points, depending on the contest. Each 1/2 point costs the bettor an additional 10% vigorish.

NHL

NHL Hockey Rules

1. For betting purposes, a hockey game (prop or college) becomes official after fifty-five (55) minutes of play.

2. Games lasting under official time constitute "NO ACTION" or "PUSH/CANCEL" and all the money is refunded.

3. NHL COMPLETE game wagering only. The game must play to completion. For grading purposes, all goals scored during regulation and overtime are counted, plus one goal for the winner of a shootout, if it occurs.

4. For "period" bets, the full 20 minutes of the period must be played to have action.

GAME PROPS

Propositions bets are additional betting opportunities offered on the game. They can cover a wide range of results and occurrences within the game e.g. team to score first, total shots on goal, total game saves, time of first score etc.

Game must go at least 55 minutes for the following betting markets to have action, unless a team has already scored at the time the game is suspended. Overtime is included:

FUTURES

Regular season points/match-ups- team must complete at least 80 regular season games for bets to have action.

Outright betting - Prices are offered on teams or players to be the outright winners of a given tournament or competition. For example the Stanley Cup is the outright tournament in NHL. Prices are offered for each team participating.

Conference/division betting - Teams participating in an outright tournament may be grouped in conferences and/or divisions. For example NHL is grouped into 2 conferences (Eastern and Western), each containing 3 divisions. Prices are offered for each participating team to win their respective division and conference.

To win Division - team must complete at least 80 regular season games for bets to have action. (Ties are no action)

To win Conference- team must complete at least 80 regular season games for bets to have action. The team that progresses to the Stanley Cup will be deemed the winner of the Conference.

Straight hockey bets(side): When wagering on CHICAGO, Chicago must win the game for you to win your wager. When wagering on LOS ANGELES, Los Angeles must win to win the bet.  If the game goes to a shootout, the winning team of the shootout will have an extra goal added to their total.

FOR EXAMPLE: Using the teams above, should the game be tied 2-2 at the end of regulation, and then at the end of Overtime, the game will go to a shootout.  If Los Angeles wins the shootout, the final score is 3-2, Los Angeles is the winner.

When betting on the total score of a game, you must take the OVER or the UNDER. Regardless of the outcome, the combined score of the two teams will determine if you win or lose your bet. Remember, overtime will always count towards the bet.  In the case of a shootout, the team winning the shootout will have an extra goal added to their total.  Using the above example, the total score would be 5, and the OVER would be the winning bet.

Future Wagering

Future Wagers, such as to win the Stanley Cup, will be graded as soon as the season is over.

NFL, NCAAF

Scored Official

At least 55 minutes of play must elapse for bets to have action, unless otherwise specified. Overtime counts for all bets unless otherwise specified.

Game propositions

Propositions bets are additional betting opportunities offered on the game. They can cover a wide range of results and occurrences within the game e.g. total offensive yards, total first downs, longest scoring play, time of first score etc.

Any special game proposition bets offered are accepted single bets only, unless specified otherwise. For example, the following props are allowed in parlays - winning margins, double result, highest scoring quarter and first scoring play of the game is.

Overtime counts for all proposition bets unless specifically stated otherwise. For example, overtime does not count for double result, highest scoring quarter of the game, and half with most points.

Overtime counts for all  bets unless specifically stated otherwise. All prop bets are accepted single bets only, unless stated otherwise.

Quarterback & Running Back  props are based on gross passing or rushing yards gained.

Futures

NFL regular season wins and match-ups are based on teams completing all 16 regular season games.

AFC/NFC Conference winners are determined by the teams progressing to the Superbowl.

NFL Divisional winners are determined by games won during regular season based on teams completing all 16 games. (Tie is no action)

NCAA regular season wins and match-ups are based on teams completing the minimum number of games specified.

(Ties are no action)

Straight Bets

The team wagered on must win by the point spread given at the time of the wager. For straight wagers, unless otherwise indicated, the odds are $1.10 to win $1.00. Games that tie are considered "no action" and money is re-deposited back into your account. Due to changing events, the point spread may fluctuate at any time.

Example: Player wagers $110.00 on Cleveland -6 to beat +6 If San Diego wins by more than 6 points the player wins $100.00 so the total payout including the initial wager would be $210.00. If Cleveland only wins by 6 points then the game is considered "no action" and all money is returned to the bettor. If the Cleveland wins by less than 7 points the wagers is lost.

Totals (also known as Over/Under bets)

The combined score of both teams for games wagered on, all totals lay $1.10 to win $1.00 unless it is otherwise indicated.

Example: The player lays $110.00 on the OVER in the NY Jets/Dallas game. The total for the game is 45. If both teams' combined score is more than 45 than the player would win $100.00. If the combined score is equal 45 the game is considered "no action" and the money is returned. If the combined score is less than 45 then the wager is lost.

Buying points

Points can be bought only on point spreads and totals to move the spread or total to your advantage. The amount you have to risk in order to win the same amount originally quoted will increase. The amount of this increase will vary depending on how many points are bought. Push rules apply.

Money Line Wagers

The team wagered on just has to win the game. The amount you lay or take for each game may vary. The money line that is read to at the time of your wager is the money line you keep regardless of any line movement.

Example: The player wagers on Miami -160 at Minnesota +260. If Miami wins then the player would lay $160.00 to win $100.00. If the player bet on Minnesota then the player would lay $100.00 to win $260.00

Halftime Wagers

Halftime wagering is simply a wager only on the score of the first, or second half of a contest. The line offered will be a pointspread, a moneyline, or a combination of the two, but the wager applies only to the score of the halftime period specified.

Parlays (also known as Multiples or Combos)

This is a bet of 2 or more teams (selections) or propositions in no particular order. All teams wagered on in a parlay must win. If there is a tie, or "no action" among the selections made, the parlay reverts down to the next lowest number for payoff. In the case of a 2-team parlay, it will revert down to a straight wager. No parlay bets will be accepted where individual "selections" are connected. For example, you cannot parlay the over of the first half of a football game with the over of the total game, because the two are 'connected'

Teasers

A Teaser is a selection of two or more teams in one wager in which the point spread is adjusted in your favor. The number of teams selected and the number of points selected determines the payout odds. A "Tie" or "No Action" and a "Win" on a two team teaser shall constitute a "No Action" wager. A "Tie" or a "No Action" and a "Loss" on a two team teaser shall constitute a "Losing" wager. Ties on a three or more team teaser shall revert to the next lowest betting bracket. (Example: A tie on a three team becomes a two team teaser.)

Futures

A "futures" wager is a bet placed on an event that is scheduled to occur at some future date. For instance, prior to the beginning of the regular season for each major sport, odds will be established for each team to win their individual division, conference and seasonal championship.

Another type of "future" wager that has become extremely popular is the over/under wager for the total number of victories for the entire season for a given team.

Proposition Bets (Exotics)

Simply put, Proposition/Exotic Bets may generally be considered as any wager other than a straight "side" or "over/under" wager. More specifically, these wagers usually involve specific events and occurrences that happen throughout any given game. We have listed some examples for you below.

Props/Exotics will be offered on the more marquee games on the betting menu. These include, but are not limited to, Sunday and Monday night NFL games, various NCAA Football games, major Bowl games, and most Playoff and Championship games. There are also many other miscellaneous events that Props and Exotics will be offered for.

Examples and Definitions of Common Props/Exotics

*-  Which team will be the first to score?

The team that scores first in the game (touchdown, field goal or other). This bet will be taken off the board for wagering 15 minutes before the scheduled kickoff time because the coin has been tossed and the team who will have the first possession of the ball is known.
